Cathryn Woodall, Grad. Dip. Phys., Msc Sports Injury and Rehabilitation
  • I trained at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry and qualified in 1990

  • I moved to Chester in 1991 and gained a broad experience in various specialities and different environmental including community care, Countess of Chester, Royal Infirmary and latterly in Primary Care Services, working at GP surgeries.

  • I have treated amateur and professional athletes in various sports, including rugby, climbing, running and judo and worked at the Manchester Commonwealth games in 2002

  • I am a member of the Professional Jockey Associations Jockey Injury Management Team, and treat both professional and amateur jockeys for their musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation following injury.

  • Currently, I continue some part time work within NHS Primary Care, in a role which involves assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions, including requesting investigations such as XR and arranging onward referrals to Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Consultants when required.
